Our 2nd WeekA great general of the King of Scotland. Macbeth on his way home after a battle when three witches appear before him. Frightened , he and his fellow soldier, Banquo, hear astounding news: Macbeth will one day be king and so will Banquo's children. The witches vanish ,leaving the two men full of wonder and fear. Macbeth quickly becomes obsessed with the thought of being king and starts doing anything that will help him achieve the prophecy. Murder follows murder as he loses his sense of righteouness and becomes full of anger, hate and panic.
